Terms of Use

Effective date: 27 October 2026  ·  Last updated: 27 October 2026

These Terms are provisional and under review by our legal advisers; they may be updated. By using the Service you accept the version in force. Questions: [email protected].

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PricerLab, available at pricerlab.com and its sub-domains, together with any associated applications, modules and services (the "Service").

The Service is provided by PRICERLAB LTD (company no. 17543984), a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our", or the "Provider").

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. The Disclaimer forms part of these Terms

The in-app and in-site Disclaimer is expressly incorporated into and forms part of these Terms. In summary, the Disclaimer states that PricerLab is an indicative calculator — not advice, and not a substitute for your broker or the exchange, that all outputs are theoretical model values produced from the inputs you supply, and that you are solely responsible for your own decisions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Disclaimer, the provisions that are more protective of the Provider and more cautionary to the user prevail.

2. What PricerLab is (and is not)

2.1 PricerLab is a browser-first, informational and analytical tool — an LME (and, over time, other-market) options pricer and modular workspace. It performs options-pricing mathematics (for example Black-76, Greeks, volatility smiles, payoff diagrams, TAPO/Asian methods and LME prompt-date discounting) on inputs that you supply.

2.2 All outputs — prices, Greeks, volatility surfaces, payoff diagrams and structure valuations — are theoretical model estimates and illustrations only. They are not executable prices, firm quotes, official valuations or benchmarks, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Day-count, holiday, settlement and fixing conventions used here may differ from those of your counterparty or the exchange.

2.3 The Service is an informational/analytical tool only. Nothing in it is, and nothing in it should be construed as:

2.4 Use of the Service creates no advisory, fiduciary, broker or client relationship between you and the Provider.

2.5 No reliance. You must not rely on PricerLab for any trading, hedging, valuation, collateral, margin, accounting or risk-management decision. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and their consequences. You should always verify prices and terms with your broker and the relevant exchange, and seek independent professional advice before acting.

3. Regulatory status (FCA perimeter)

3.1 The Provider is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial-services regulator.

3.2 The Service is a computational and informational utility. It is not a regulated activity, not a regulated service, not the provision of regulated advice, not a financial promotion and not a benchmark. The Provider does not arrange, deal in, advise on, or manage investments, and does not hold client money or assets.

3.3 Market data (if any) in the free tier is data you supply yourself; the Provider does not provide, license or guarantee any exchange or market data in the free tier.

3.4 PricerLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the London Metal Exchange, CME Group, or any other exchange or their licensors. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. Eligibility

4.1 You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is intended for professional and business users who understand derivatives and options markets. It is not intended for consumers, retail investors or persons under 18, and is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its use would be contrary to law.

4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

5. Accounts and security (paid tier)

Accounts apply only to the paid tier (see section 7). The free tier does not require an account.

5.1 To use account-based features you must register through our authentication provider (Clerk), using a Google, Microsoft or email identity. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential.

5.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorised use or suspected security breach.

5.3 We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe your account has been compromised or used in breach of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

6.1 You agree not to:

6.2 We may investigate and take action (including suspension or termination) for any suspected breach.

7. Subscriptions and billing (paid tier)

The paid tier described below is built but not yet live. These provisions take effect only when the paid tier is made available.

7.1 Plans. The free tier is provided at no charge. The paid "Expert" plan adds account-based features, including saving strategies and managing portfolios, and is charged at £150 per month (additional seats at 50%).

7.2 Payment processor. Payments are processed by Stripe. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, and card details are handled by Stripe — we do not store your card number. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.

7.3 Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

7.4 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time via the Stripe customer (billing) portal. On cancellation your plan reverts to the free tier at the end of the then-current paid period, and paid features (and access to saved paid content) may become unavailable.

7.5 Refunds. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. PricerLab is intended for business/professional users, so statutory consumer cancellation rights may not apply. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact [email protected].

7.6 Taxes. Prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes due in your jurisdiction.

7.7 Price changes. We may change plan pricing or features on reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

8. Your data and content

8.1 Free tier. The free tier is a static browser application. The only thing stored for free users is your workspace layout, kept in your browser's localStorage on your own device — not on our servers.

8.2 Paid tier. Paid features allow you to save content (strategies, structures and portfolios) and workspace layouts to our servers. You retain ownership of the inputs and content you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

8.3 You are responsible for the inputs you enter and the content you save, and for ensuring you have the right to use them.

8.4 Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy.

9. Intellectual property

9.1 The Service, including its software, pricing engine, design, text and branding (including the "PricerLab" name), is owned by or licensed to the Provider and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

9.2 Third-party trademarks (including exchange names) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

10. Third-party services

10.1 The Service relies on third-party providers, including Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments) and Neon (database). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability is outside our control.

11. Availability, changes and termination

11.1 The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, and we may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Service at any time.

11.2 We may suspend or terminate your access (including a paid subscription, without refund save as required by law or by section 7.5) if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the Service or other users.

11.3 You may stop using the Service at any time; for paid plans, cancellation is handled as set out in section 7.

12. Disclaimers and warranties

12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all its outputs are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties or terms of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency or non-infringement.

12.2 We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any purpose, or that the Service will meet your requirements. See sections 1 and 2 and the Disclaimer.

13. Limitation of liability

13.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

13.2 Subject to section 13.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for: any trading, hedging, valuation, margin or investment losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss of or corruption to data; or any indirect or consequential loss — in each case arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, or reliance on, the Service or its outputs.

13.3 Subject to section 13.1, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, and (b) £100.

13.4 Because the free tier is provided at no charge, and because the Service is informational only and you must independently verify all outputs, you accept that the limitations in this section are reasonable.

14. Indemnity

14.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider and its officers, employees and contractors against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your presentation of the Service's outputs to third parties as advice, quotes or valuations, except to the extent caused by our own fault.

15. Changes to these Terms

15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change, and material changes may be notified in-app, by email (for account holders) or on the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

16.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the law of England and Wales.

16.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

17. General

17.1 If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms (together with the Disclaimer and the Privacy & Cookies Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours on reasonable notice. A person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
